Dear Beloved Members and Friends,

We will be celebrating Homecoming on Sunday, July 29, 2018, during our 10:00 a.m. service. The Right Reverend Harry Lee Seawright, Presiding Prelate of the Ninth Episcopal District of Alabama will deliver the message.

Please join us in this spiritual renewal and fellowship experience. We have chosen the theme “Family, Faith, Friends, For These We Give Thanks.” This theme reminds us of the truly important things God has provided for us and for which we are so thankful.

As we celebrate our Homecoming, we are ever so mindful of the various ministries of the church which lend their support to meet the present and expanding needs of the future.  Therefore, the focus of this celebration is to raise needed funds to partially support the many ministries of the church. Each class leader has been asked to serve as a captain. The captain (class leader) and the members of his/her class are asked to raise $1,000.  A $100 donation from each adult member is suggested. Our goal is to raise a minimum of$15,000. The class reporting the highest amount of money will receive special recognition and a portrait of the class will be placed in the church for the year.

Let’s make every effort to invite your family and friends to this special occasion.  Lunch will be served in the Chappelle M. Davis Fellowship Hall after the worship service.

We prayerfully ask your support as we continue to serve the present age and prepare for the future.

Faith, Hope, and Love

Reverend Stanley Rivers, Pastor
